Venues are live

For a while, Octiv was a marketplace with one very enthusiastic half. Artists signed up, built their pages, and waited patiently for venues to appear. Good news: the venues showed up.

Venue signup is now open to anyone. No invite code, no secret handshake. Venues get their own public page, can browse artists, and can send booking requests directly.

Casting Calls

Sometimes a venue knows it needs someone for Friday night but has no idea who. That's what Casting Calls are for. A venue posts what they're after, the date, the vibe, the budget, and lets artists come to them.

Think of it as a "now booking" sign that nobody has to print.

Open Gigs

Same coin, artist side. Open Gigs lets artists browse every active Casting Call, find the ones that fit, and raise a hand with one click. No cold emails. No DM rabbit holes. No wondering whether anyone read your message.

Venue posts a gig, artists express interest, venue picks. That's the whole loop.
